The Masonic Temple in Philadelphia


A few weeks ago we toured the Masonic Temple. It is a fantastic building with striking architectural features. I will share a few photos with you over the next couple of weeks. Hope you enjoy!
City Hall, topped with the iconic statue of William Penn, is just across the street.
The stonework at the entranceway to the Temple is stunning.

    The Masons have such beautiful buildings! I believe President George Washington was a Mason

      Indeed he was - I believe 14 US presidents were, as well as Benjamin Franklin.

    That is a very grand temple, the ones I've seen here are very vintage looking and alot smaller.

    This is a magnificently decorated building inside and out and is worth seeing, and I also learned a few things about Freemasonry here that I didn't know before.
