I must admit that this sort of art isn't my first choice, but it's kind of interesting. What do you think?
A detail from the first painting. |
The artist was demonstrating his opinion of politicians. I have to agree. |
Once again, a detail from the previous painting. |
Not a great fan of Surrealism but it can be intriguing to look at.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
DeleteIndeed, I'm not really a Fan of Surrealismus. But its Part of art.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting. Have a good week.
I also like artistic painting!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the talent of the authors!
Greetings
Great paintings, not so 'bad' surrealism to me. My favourites are the house and the girl in the yellow dress. They are very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful artwork!
ReplyDeleteThey are garish and would not like them on my wall, but the details are engaging and perplexing.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. Interesting in a museum, but it would be jarring in my home!
DeleteYou are right, it is interesting, but like you would not be my choice for my home. I agree with Kenneth, the pictures are perplexing, but I must say colorful!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind it but probably not surreal enough for me...
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about superrealism but I love the first painting. It reminds me of street photography and shows emotion and action and humanity.
ReplyDeleteHi! These paaintings are very cool. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat cool pieces!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about superrealism art and I can see that the artist is trying to express his feeling through the painting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful works of art with so much color. A feast for the eyes!
ReplyDeleteYes...interesting indeed. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful painting. I like them. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say Surrealisme it is more realistic then abstract. In any case the painter gave his paintings a personal touch and one would recognize his style. I paint too and I know that this is very important !
ReplyDeleteVery interesting indeed, Sue. I agree with that artist's portrayal of politicians, too! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing, and for hosting. Happy Wednesday!
I like them. The style was popular in the 1930's, I think.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours in all of them, but prefer the third one. Thanks for hosting the link party.
