The Kanawha runs through the Allegheny Mountains, which are one of the smaller ranges running through the Appalachians. We had a lovely visit.

  5. Beautiful country. Thank you for sharing. The Appalachians are very old mountains that were tall like the Rocky but have been worn down to the size we know today. Thank you for hosting us. Aloha!

  21. The fog softens the landscape and makes the reflections in the water look misty.
