While we were at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, which we visited in June, I saw this young man - perhaps inspired by the art work he'd seen - drawing on his sketch pad. He was making invitations for his October birthday. So now that it's October, I thought I'd reach out into cyberspace to extend my birthday wishes!
I used to love going to museums and drawing with my youngest son.
ReplyDeleteI hope this young man's invitations were appreciated.
Portrait of the artist as a young man.... Aloha
ReplyDeleteBoth writing and art are a tough way to make a living! But so rewarding.
ReplyDeleteGood on him, I admire people who can do artwork.

ReplyDeleteThere is inspiration for art everywhere if one takes the time to sit and observe! Well done to the young man. Have a fabulous week and thankyou again for the linkup.

I’m glad young people still use pen and paper at least some of the time.
