I'm amazed that human nature always wants to create art and beauty, no matter how humble the materials. In Ghana I saw window coverings made of strings of bottle caps.
Most people are more creative than they think they are. Folk art and military trench art just a couple of examples of what people can do with minimum tools and a little imagination. Very nice images.
Very cool! Aren't the faces made from Apples. My mom used to make dolls like this when she was a kid because they didn't have the money for real dolls, though these are clearly art. http://travelingbugwiththreeboys-kelleyn.blogspot.com/2016/09/jetzt-gehts-los.html
Sue, thanks for hosting. I've seen them look like rural mountain folks in these parts, so it's kinda cool how others adapt their corn husk dolls to their way communities as these corn husk dolls look like they are from the southwest - cool!
