Glamping :- http://nicktay.net/2015/05/25/glamping/
Lovely series! Reminds me about the fox-criminal-novels of Rita Mae Brown (I like this books!)Thanks for hosting
These are briliant! Love it!
Going on a fox hunt. Love the horses and the dogs. Great shots. Sue, thanks for hosting. Have a happy week!
Those are some exciting hunting shots. Blessings!
Great shots...er pardon the pun!! Not something that is seen everyday. Especially lije the last one with the grasses in the forefront.
Beautiful series !! Many thanks for hosting !!Have a nice new week!! xo, isabella
That is so cool! I would have loved to have been there. I have a beagle/coonhound mix, I can just see him out there running with the dogs. Of course, he'd get distracted 30 seconds in, but still lol
Hari OMSome British legacy still!!!This is going to be my last visit (at least for a while) Sue, as I am having to prioritise and manage my time a little differently - I have greatly enjoyed my weekly visits to places different from my usual rounds - but sometimes its necessary to pull on the reins!!! You'll remain on my blogroll and watch out for me gee-plussing here there and everywhere &*> Hugs, YAM xx
Fantastic pictures !! I love the horses and the dogs !!Greetings
Great shots. Something we don't see every day.
Thanks so much for the weekly link-up! Photos are gorgeous, as always! Have a great day!
You capture the momently beautifully.
I love these! Kind of Downton Abbey-ish... in more modern times. :)
Wonderful pictures! I have only seen things like this in the movies :)
Love these! The dude in red is a striking figure!
That is so cool. I had never seen it before. Super cool shots.
I do like hunting pictures. Wonderful shots here.
Those are great photos, and I assume you were also riding with them to get the shots? I've never seen a real hunt.
Thank you so much for hosting! Have a wonderful week!! xx
Looks like fun out there!Thank you for hosting.
Hunting is big where I live despite it being illegal! Great pictures.Visit Keith's Ramblings!
I'm not sure these folks actually hunt (as in kill) foxes. They were having the hounds track the scent of fox urine that was put on a rag, then drug along through the woods and fields prior to the "hunt". It was fascinating to watch!
That's alright then!
Great photos. Really fascinating.
Very cool pictures. Not something you see every day.
reminded me of days long gone :)
This is so cool. I have never seen a fox hunt, nor actual photos before. I have only seen them acted in the movies. Beautiful photos.
Love the British flair!! Thanks for joining us on Oh My Heartsie Girl Wordless Wednesday!Shelliewww.thefabjourney.com
Happy post Memorial Day! My WW includes horses too, they are gentle giants, dignified and lovely creatures. In your pics, we see that the horse and rider act as one, a team bond that is so nice to see!
Love the ceremonial red. Feel sad for the fox.
That last picture is amazing!!!!
Thank you so much for hosting. Cool pictures. Have a good day.
An interesting and fun day of riding, beautiful pictures !!
I must admit that I don't like hunting at all ! Although it's sometimes necessary !
Lovely photos of the hunt.
Hope they they succeed in getting their trophies!
the pictures are great although I do not agree on hunting . We have a hunt near us but they only chase a dummy not a real animal lol
Why do I feel like this is a scene out of Mary Poppins?
There are many fox here in Colorado but I've never seen a fox hunt like this!
My art teacher from the art workshop I attended last weekend loves participating in these mock hunts. I learned that the dogs may not be referred to as dogs, but as hounds. Her stories were very colorful, but she's either crazy or very brave, because the riders have some nasty falls. I was thinking how much I'd love to photograph such an event and amazed to see that you did just that and posted your pics in the same week that I was interested in the subject. :)
Looks amazing! Want to see something like this too!
Amazing photos! I have never really seen anything like this even though I grew up in England.
Great shots Sue!
Some traditions need to be kept - like the hunt! Love the pic with the one horseman and all the doggies:):)
This is so cool.http://joycelansky.blogspot.com/2015/05/ww-sephora.html
Seems anachronistic, but they still do this in Virginia Hunt Country, not that far from here. Run fox run!
The hunt looks exciting - the color - the outdoors - the beautiful horses - WOW!
Wow! I've never seen a fox hunt before. Great pics of it. :) Thanks for the linky.
Great photos! Looks like fun.
Love these! I've never seen a fox hunt, either, only pictured it in my head from books.
I am not so good yet with speed photography, so for me they are all difficult to take. So very clear fotos. Why do they have to employ a lot of dogs too?
They make for lovely pictures, but I've never understood the appeal of so many people and dogs going after the same poor animal.
Wonderful! I screeched with delight when I saw the pictures of all the dogs surrounding the man in the horse ;0)
As a child I went fox hunting, these photos brought it all back, they are wonderful!Wren x
What great photos! That first shot is awesome! Thank you for joining us for Photo Friday again!
What wonderful photos! Such an English event for this Anglophile to soak up!
sooo cool..I only see these scenes on TV or movies. It must be a wonderful experience to be there :)indahnuria.com
Impressive. Never easy to catch people or animals moving.
I miss riding so much, sure would have liked to have been on one of those beautiful horses.
Lovely photos. Thank you for your beautiful blog.Jamie
Lovely pictures ... check out the smile in the leader's face in the first picture and the seriousness on his face in the second! :-) #aNoviceMumCommentLuv
Thanks for linking up to Share A Smile. Sorry I missed your linky, I am a bit behind this week.
These are such great shots! I am not a fan of hunting, but I understand that there are "mock" hunts -- perhaps this is one of those?
These shots are great. I absolutely love them.
Good captures of the hunt! Interesting set of pics. Nice to see they were just chasing the scent as you say in your comment above. It's always hard with hunts, it looks so glamourous and farmers will say foxes are a pest especially for sheep but it must be a nasty way to die when they do hunt animals. Bit controversial in Ireland too
