Awww, they are so cute until they run at you! Eeeek!
I've never had that happen! When I was a very little girl, my mom and I used to hand feed "wild" squirrels with peanut butter bread. A fond memory!
Maybe it was a "crazy" squirrel, but it scared me to pieces!
Terrific squirrel pictures! Thanks for the link up.
Have a great week!
I think squirrels are so adorable. There are none in New Zealand, so we always get excited when we see them somewhere else.
I'm always amazed to hear that there are countries without squirrels. They're everywhere her!
What squirrels does not loves nuts? Fun photos, Sue!
As cute as squirrels are, they can be quite annoying when they get into our bird feeders. LOL! Have a blessed week.
LOL!We've actually found a solution. As cute as they are and as fun as it can be to watch their antics, we're overrun with them right now. They eat our birdseed, knock over plants, and climb all over the patio furniture, where they poop. So... we purchased a have-a-heart trap and capture the cute little guys with "squirrel bait": peanut butter on a piece of tortilla. We then relocate them to a park a few miles away. They have lots of trees, some streams, and a river, and we still have plenty of the little guys here. We've relocated FIVE of them today!Have a great week!
He seems to be posing for the photographer, showcasing the cuteness of a squirrelly rodent. Demure and delightful!
Adorable little rascal.
Beautiful pics. Squirrels are so cool. I can spend hours looking at them.
Very cute captures!
So cute and lovely.I really like the first photograph.
Delightful little creatures beautifully photographed.
You got so close!
They are always fascinating to watch......great shots! Thanks for hosting....
So cute. Well they look cute. But are they annoying to have around? Do they take things they shouldn't? Have a fabulous week and thank you for the link up.
Adorable little critters!
Perky little guy!
Funny lil guy. You've captured him beautifully.
Love your photos. I wish there were squirrels around here.
Great little guys to watch, we used to have them running through the trees when we lived in Texas!
Nicely captured! Thanks, as always, for hosting!
Amazing photos, wow! I have always loved squirrels, but have never thought to photograph them, beautiful! : )
What a cute little critter!
The freeloading rats with tails finally moved out of our house. Now, we are working on removing a family of raccoons. These animals are an expensive problem, so forgive me if I don't find them cure.
Hi Sue, we don't have squirrels in Australia so your fauna is of great interest. I have posted 'early' today about perspective ...using my beach pics. Have a good week. Denyse
Hi Sue!Squirrels are SO fun to watch. So active, and so expressive. GREAT snaps! :)Thanks for hosting!
Love these shots Sue, squirrels are adorable aren't they? - Tasha
Such a cute and adorable squirrel. I only get to see them running on the branches at a far distance.
Beautiful photos and thank you so much for linking up at: http://impulsiveartistry.blogspot.com/2016/05/walk-in-woods-photos-set-linky.html
Gorgeous! We once reared a baby squirrel (my parents are vets), and they're surprisingly vicious! Beautiful photos all the same, and thank you for hosting.
Sue, what a coincidence! Your post includes squirrels and so does mine. Have you ever seen a white squirrel? If not, hop over for a peek! Thanks for hosting the #WW fun!http://curiousasacathy.com/2016/06/what-does-a-squirrel-op-taylor-and-an-outhouse-have-in-common-ww/
I am impressed you were able to get such a close up shot. they are so skiddish around here!http://travelingbugwiththreeboys-kelleyn.blogspot.com/2016/06/orange-beach-alabama.html
I guess he was done posing so nicely - ha! What a cutie. We have one that has decided under our front porch is a great home. The cat keeps trying to squeeze his butt through the hole LOL
Love the squirrels!
The first picture of the squirrel is super. He could be a TV host. Sorry to hear about your sweet butterflies. My butterfly bush even died. Just as well I don't attract them because I'm trying to get rid of ants. They downed a tree last week. Love your Linky part. Some great shots shared here.
Excuse me...Perhaps I misunderstood...ANTS downed a TREE? What kind of ANTS do you have, and can you please never send them here??????
Squirrels are the funniest animals to watch. Great characteristic captures here. Lisa @ LTTL
You are AMAZING! The second one is my favourite. :D
what beautiful images... he/ she seems quite content... great captures...
Thank you for the lovely comments Sue! - Tasha
It's always a pleasure to see your posts, dear Sue. Thank you for hosting this theme, by the way. The squirrel is amazing. It's a wonder that you can capturing, the squirrels are so swift... 🤗
I used to see squirrels all the time in the US and probably took them for granted, but they didn't exist in Australia, where we moved to for 4 yrs, and now in England, they're around, but not as common as they were in the US.
Great captures! Thanks for participating in the Travel Tuesday meme.
SQUIRREL! Have you ever seen the Disney movie "Up"?
squirrels are always fun to watch. My kids love watching them in front of our house :)
