Saints among us

Last week you saw photos from the Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral. This week we continue our tour by seeing some of the statues of saints that overlook the sanctuary.

  3. Honoring our heroes! I have St Francis in our front yard. Hope the HOA police don't crack down on me! They allow fountains even if they include statues (of any kind-- fish, birds, nudes, cherubs) but stand-alone statues may be verboten. Go figure!

  5. The church looks very peaceful and interesting for people of many faiths, perhaps even unbelievers who appreciate that many people have deep beliefs.

  17. Growing up as a Filipino Catholic, Images of these saints really make me happy and delighted. Our town's patron saint is Saint Francis of Assisi and his image here is so beautiful!

  22. Thank you for these divine blessings. I recognised Archangel Michael, as I'm wee bit biased towards him and he is my favourite and I know he got my back always. :))

Would have loved to know the names of the other Saints too. Is their Gabrielle as well?
