Groundhog alert!

Outside of the gym I used to attend it was common to see a pair of groundhogs. Unfortunately I never caught sight of the 5 babies they had. I learned that while groundhogs may have up to 10 in a litter, 3-5 is more common. If you ever get this question on Trivial Pursuit, you'll now know the answer!

  6. I am assuming that groundhogs are a type of rodent? I've never seen one. Are they a pest? Enjoy your week and thankyou again for the linkup.

    1. Yes, Jill. They're about the size of a beaver. They dig tunnels in the earth so can be destructive. We found some solar-powered posts that emit a high-pitched intermitted whine that discourages them somewhat without needing to resort to poisons or traps.

  7. Groundhogs can destroy a garden. And they’re hard to get rid of.
