Groundhog alert!
Outside of the gym I used to attend it was common to see a pair of groundhogs. Unfortunately I never caught sight of the 5 babies they had. I learned that while groundhogs may have up to 10 in a litter, 3-5 is more common. If you ever get this question on Trivial Pursuit, you'll now know the answer!

ReplyDeleteHow cute! We don't get those here...of course we only know them cos of the movie (and now the musical in Melbourne)
ReplyDeleteI've never seen one in person. I, too, only know them from the movie.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday, Sue!
I am assuming that groundhogs are a type of rodent? I've never seen one. Are they a pest? Enjoy your week and thankyou again for the linkup.
ReplyDeleteYes, Jill. They're about the size of a beaver. They dig tunnels in the earth so can be destructive. We found some solar-powered posts that emit a high-pitched intermitted whine that discourages them somewhat without needing to resort to poisons or traps.
DeleteGroundhogs can destroy a garden. And they’re hard to get rid of.
ReplyDeleteCute! Never saw groundhogs in nature.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week
