The garden show in Philadelphia is the United States' largest and longest-running horticultural event and fundraiser. I didn't realize that horticulturalists from around the world participate. This was my first time attending the show; it will not be my last!

I'm not sure what the clothes hanging from the line were supposed to signify - we couldn't get close enough to the placard that explained this display! |
The clothesline full of clothes was very nostalgic! I hung clothes like that when I was first married. Have a good week, Sue!
ReplyDeleteThe washing line is kinda strange, but the flowers are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank You 🙏🏽
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a great experience. I would love to see it one day. Thanks so much for hosting!

ReplyDeleteLooks amazing, Loved this show, Beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteImagine if you could really have a bath there (without the onlookers!) How divine that would be!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful floral display!
ReplyDeleteSounds like an amazing experience!
ReplyDeleteThe clothesline display is intriguing—I’m curious about its meaning too.
Happy Tuesday, Sue!
Beautiful flowers! I googled this info on the washing line exhibit. The 'Grass Stains' exhibit, by Apiary Studio, is a playful and nostalgic landscape featuring tall grassy plants and clotheslines with white children's clothing, aiming to depict a garden seen from a child's perspective and highlighting the future of gardening.
ReplyDeleteI think I would have enjoyed going to this. So much to see and be inspired by! I am thinking that the clothes line is because that's what we hang in our backyards. Well I do anyway! Enjoy your week and thankyou again for the linkup.
ReplyDeleteA lovely set of pictures with which to end your tour!
ReplyDeleteI love the dining table nestled in with all the plants!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love the dining room table amidst all the pretty plants.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful. The solar clothes dryer seems a little out of place. ;-)
