Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul


We had the opportunity to visit the basilica in Philadelphia. It's truly a beautiful worship space.

    A phantastic church. I think it is a catholic church because these cathedrals have a lot of pomp.

    This basilica is stunning, as are your images. I live one block from the Baltimore Basilica, enjoy the "chimes" hourly. It was built 1806 through 1863, said to be the first Catholic cathedral constructed in the United States. I've photographed it, exterior and interior. But I must say, in no way, does it beauty compare to yours in Philadelphia. The Baltimore one seems almost modest in comparison ...
