    1. I've never had that happen!
When I was a very little girl, my mom and I used to hand feed "wild" squirrels with peanut butter bread. A fond memory!

  8. I think squirrels are so adorable. There are none in New Zealand, so we always get excited when we see them somewhere else.

    1. LOL!
We've actually found a solution. As cute as they are and as fun as it can be to watch their antics, we're overrun with them right now. They eat our birdseed, knock over plants, and climb all over the patio furniture, where they poop.
So... we purchased a have-a-heart trap and capture the cute little guys with "squirrel bait": peanut butter on a piece of tortilla. We then relocate them to a park a few miles away. They have lots of trees, some streams, and a river, and we still have plenty of the little guys here.
We've relocated FIVE of them today!

      Have a great week!

  22. The freeloading rats with tails finally moved out of our house. Now, we are working on removing a family of raccoons. These animals are an expensive problem, so forgive me if I don't find them cure.

  32. The first picture of the squirrel is super. He could be a TV host. Sorry to hear about your sweet butterflies. My butterfly bush even died. Just as well I don't attract them because I'm trying to get rid of ants. They downed a tree last week. Love your Linky part. Some great shots shared here.
