We adopted Forrest 6 years ago after he'd been in a series of homes where he and his human hosts didn't "click". We did, and he's been a good companion, especially after my husband died and I adjusted to the single life.

Atlantic City NJ

I'm not much for gambling, especially when the economy is a bit tipsy, so when a busload of folks headed for the casinos in Atlantic City I marched straight through to the beach and the boardwalk. It was a beautiful day for a stroll in the sand!

La Salle University is a private, Catholic university in Philadelphia, first founded in 1863 by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. We had the opportunity to visit their art collection recently. As you can seem their collection holds a variety of styles from diverse time periods.

Happy Easter!

A few shots from the Easter vigil... These were taken during the procession into the church so it looks rather empty, but it filled up and was a beautiful celebration!

A few more before I forget...

The tulips were glorious. All of the displays had placards explaining the "vision" behind what we saw, but frankly the show was so crowded that it was often difficult to get close enough to read them. The theme of the flower show this year was "Gardens of Tomorrow".
