Superb photos. Love the diversity in nature but I'm glad most of them aren't in my backyard. I'm very skittish around bees, hornets and spiders.
ReplyDeleteExcellent macros!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures !!! How nice to observe nature up close !!
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Even if I don't like most of those creatures with 6 or more (*aargh*) legs, they look fantastic in closeup views. Your pictures are really great!

ReplyDeleteOh wow! Impressive photos. Incredible that you got these. I tried to photograph some insects this weekend and failed miserably. I am most attracted by the eyes. They are so shiny.

Stunning photo's!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had your talent for photography. Today we say dozens of beautiful, purple dragon-fly like insects at the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau, Alaska. I didn't even try to get a photo but I wish I had been able to.

Look at those insects..They look wonderful in your photos. Love it...and the colors...niceee :)
ReplyDeleteI was leaving a comment this morning and got interrupted. I love your macros of all these insects. They look so interesting close up--love the cicada's red eyes!
ReplyDeletePS: Thankfully we did not see any bears in the park we walked in! I believe it would be too busy a place for bears to stay in during the day, but I would not be surprised if they came by at night to look for food in the picnic areas!
Thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteI looooooooove all of these! Insects are so cool. :D Awesome post!
ReplyDeleteFantastic...such vibrant colors♪
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing series of insects. The moth with folded wings on the daisy is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGreat macro shots! You got some great ones here. I haven't been quite so lucky since getting my macro lens last summer. I really hoped this spring would provide an opportunity to use it, but my timing was off. Oh well...maybe I will have good luck finding the right instance to use it heavily. Have a fototastic week!
