Alliums are one of my favourites for the garden, I have ordered 100 bulbs to plant this autumn ready for a great display next year. They are so striking planting en masse like fireworks exploding....
What a pretty garden! I like allium but never see them growing around here so I guess they aren't very heat tolerant. I like the last photo too. Is it before blooming or after?
My father isn't into gardening much but he loves alliums! One day I would love to make him a garden full of alliums for him to enjoy :) Thank you for hosting and have a great week ahead.
It's Spring in AUS and those photos confirm that! I've never seen the black and white flowers like that. There's a sprinkler fountain that resembles it at the museum here. Cheers.
I'm so sorry. I totally linked the wrong black cockatoo post yesterday. I'm glad I did though because I was a day early! Thanks for coming by and commenting anyway =D
I took some photos of plants like these growing in the Maggie Daley garden in Chicago IL. I did not know the name of them until today - thanks for that!
Those are really pretty flowers! I love the black and white one the most. I know color is usually pretty important when it comes to flowers, but the flower's shape and details are so neat!
Hi I'll be back to link. I'm writing my post but I wanted to remind you to come over and link your party at the Fabulous Fall Link the Linky Party. And, don't forget you can link any Fall them post!
These are lovely Sue, love how you move from the vibrant purple to what inevitably happens as they die away. Beautiful (you'll notice some changes around my blog this week! Still linking up though)
I adore these plants! Unfortunately, the feeling isn't mutual. Often, mine only grow a few inches tall. They're still beautiful, of course, but they're not very majestic at that height!
