Unfortunately we need to rely on memories still - the gardens have been closed due to covid. I can't quite understand the logic there, I must admit...
It will be lovely when life returns to normal!

Gorgeous images! Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh, such a lovely place !
ReplyDeleteGreetings
We've visited Duke Gardens many times. It is a beautiful garden and fun place to visit. We were surprised that it was still closed as well, but I guess because it isn't public but privately owned through the college. Hope you are enjoying some pretty spring days! Take care.
ReplyDeleteIt's snowing here, again, so seeing blooming trees and flowers makes me anxious for spring to finally arrive!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos! It does seem a shame to shut the gardens when they could be a lovely escape for people. Possibly they are afraid of crowds?
ReplyDeleteThis wait for normality seems like watching paint dry.
ReplyDeleteThat lookslike springtime... You had a wonderful walk in the nature.
ReplyDeleteStay healthy and well, dear blgfriedn.
Wish you a very good week.
Looking gorgeous! Also waiting for life getting back to normal, got the first vaccine today. Am happy about it.
ReplyDeleteA splendorous garden. Not a very risky place outdoors for visitors who wear masks and practice social distancing. Too bad it continues to be shut down.
ReplyDeleteLovely place! Lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteLove the colour!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are lovely! This situation is tiresome but fortunately it has improved because a year ago we weren't even allowed to leave our house
ReplyDeleteWhat absolutely beautiful gardens, I love the hanging branches full of blossoms!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting, please stop by to share!
WOW! What a beautiful place!!
ReplyDeleteLove the gorgeous captures, Sue!
This is what Heaven must look like! Thank you for sharing so much beauty with us!
ReplyDeleteHave a fine week!
I agree Sue. It is ridiculous to stop people using open spaces. Why do they treat us adults like naughty kids?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link again. Stay safe.
Gorgeous garden!
ReplyDeletewhar a shame the gardens are closed due to Covid. Surely people can keep their distance in a garden. And I am sure the health benefits are worth it. Take care, stay safe, and enjoy your week, and thank you again for the link up.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty garden with beautiful flowers and greenery!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful garden. I feel they should open the garden and make sure that visitors keep their distance while in the garden or they can limit the number of visitors into the garden. It would help people to de-stress.
ReplyDeleteI guess they want people social distancing and not everyone will do that, looks like a nice place though.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful place! We miss going to some of our favorite places that have been closed, too. Hopefully, soon. Thank you for hosting, Sue.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Most of our public gardens reopened last summer, but their buildings such as restrooms remain closed. I guess it is considered risky for the workers to clean them.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! Very relaxing/
ReplyDeleteDon't try to find a logic. Or if it is one it comes from an evil place...
ReplyDeleteThe Nature is always amazing like in your images!
Happy WW and thank you for the linking!
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteNothing better than strolling through the beauty of a garden. I would love to stroll through this garden.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day. ♥
We are on the same topic this week: normal.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful garden pictures. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time
Gerda
This is what I missed in the pandemic , what a beautiful garden ,the spring blooms are always so beautiful . The last shot beside the lake is so stunning. ReplyDeleteLife is a Shoe
When trees bloom they make the surrounding so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI too hope that normalcy is back soon. Though for it to happen we all need to be careful with self and others, unfortunately many of our failing here.
Hello Sue,
ReplyDeleteLooks like lavendar/purple is the new black this season.
It's been a long haul with covid. We can just be grateful for all we have including memories and the nature that surrounds us.
Wishing you a good weekend.
