"Satellite Park" at the Duke Arts Annex

Duke University has a facility called the Arts Annex tucked away in a lightly traveled area of Durham. The site is free to students, who can use the space to let their "inner artist" create. We stumbled across the location and were intrigued, especially by the art work in the last photos. There you will see what the students did with some decommissioned satellite dishes. I love it!

  6. Thank you so much for the reminder to come and link up! I haven't been by in such a long time, but I do have a wonderful first post from Paris, France for you!! Decided not to share my Eiffel Tower photo since I feel sometimes it is overdone, but instead to share some yummy desserts from a bakery! (#24)

    Enjoy,
    Barb :)

  24. I think it is very creative and beautiful and gives young artists the opportunity to make their designs officially and not in hidden places where often taggers are smearing their designs on the wall.

  27. So lovely! I haven't been to the Raleigh/Durham area in several years but have visited Duke twice. I will have to keep in mind P.S. I couldn't "sign in" using my normal browser and had to use Chrome to comment. I hope this isn't a change that is going to be rolled out to all Blogger blogs (like mine).
