I love magnificently worn walls like this... wonderful captures!
Hari OMOh that is strangely beautiful! YAM xx
I agree its strangely beautiful looks like a map :-)
Saw far too many walls like this doing up a Victorian terraced house...so many layers...fascinating but hard work! :)
So intriguing. And yet, I thought it was done intentionally.
Almost like abstract art. Great shots.
Really interesting photos. I love the layers in the wall.
Thanks for the invite to Layers of Time. What a beautiful selection. Love the paint, bricks and color. Well done. Greetings from South Africa
Love the distressed gritty look. Visiting from Texture Tuesday.
Wonderful colors in that shot.
Amazing subject. Theres beauty in these photos that I wont see when its just me.
It looks like three or four generations of paint had been applied. Since it is now falling off, perhaps the original brick red was the best color the wall ever wore...
I like the traces of decay and peeling colours. Adds so much interest.
So simple, but dramatic. Love it!
Nice abstract.Thank you for hosting.
Das sieht sooo toll aus !

one can't beat peeling paint for fabulous texture!
Interesting to see all the layers....it's like going back in time.
And all the beautiful stories come out along to those that remember it.. :)
Beautiful texture to those layers. Thanks for joining in at Song-ography.

This is like it is slowly striping away and showing all its layers of historyMollyxxx
Great picture :)
I'd love to know the stories of the people who painted each of these layers. Only the wall now knows their story though!
Ahhhhhhh Great minds think alike. If only these walls could talk my grandpa use to say! I love seeing very old building, and how they use to be so many years ago.
I LOVE that photo. I love bricks and these peeling layers are such pretty colors.
