Jerusalem kitties

This kitty seemed to be reduced to hard times, scavenging in the trash for food.

Someone got a shot of this little fellow coming to me for attention... or perhaps a handout.

He was pretty and friendly, but I doubt Israeli airport security would have let me slip him aboard the plane. Nor would my husband or our two felines taken kindly to the idea.

  3. My heart breaks when I see feral cats, as I know many more kittens will follow. The ones you saw looked healthy so it looks like they are finding both food and affection.

  13. I always see so many kitties when I go to Israel. In parts of Jerusalem, I've seen many with tipped ears, which, thankfully, means someone is doing TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release). :)

  14. I hope somebody takes care of them ! That's the trouble in these countries, they don't care very much about their animals at least not outside big cities.
