Great pottery Sue. Some of that has the appearance of the famed Moorcroft. Maybe not? I especially like the greeny blue ones with the trees. Thanks for your allowing me to join in today, and every week.
I believe the pottery you're refering to isby Davin Butterfield. You can find a website for him online...search for Davin Butterfield Pottery. DH got two pieces of his pottery for me to go with the coffee mug I've had for several years.
Wow, such a lot of wonderful things! My favorites are the blue pottery in #2 and still more #3, looks like art deco, so unique! Send you a warm spring sunshine
All these vessels ... Some cheerful in their color, others charming in elegance and discretion ... Superb! I especially liked the ones in the third photo.
I love pottery and think it would be a neat craft to learn. I had a friend who used to do this and I benefited from her time spent at the potter's wheel. She kept her imperfections which I loved. The artist in her saw the flaws but I saw a beautiful homey work of art. Although, our paths have taken us down different roads I cherish the pieces she has gifted me and seeing them often puts a smile on my face. Thanks for hosting the mid-week fun!
A really impressive collection. And I like that there are so many shapes of vases, for different destinations. And the colors are very elegant. Thank you for the presentation! And the linking! Happy WW!
